Sparking up discussions on the issues left unattended, the second day of PU Mock All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) broke the ice with ease on January 22nd, 2017 in Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Starting the day with substance, the meet saw some opinions diverging from the rest. The moderated session on human rights and violence made the diplomats ponder over the various instances that the nation has seen in the recent past, which for sure doesn’t quality as an act by human, and the topic otherwise discussed in general.
After a short tea break, the fire broke wild and spread to the issue of insurgency in Kashmir, which in its wake saw some strong opinions rising amongst the rest. The next session, Session 5 took up a topic related to the previous one with a whole new perception to it. Discussing the recent happening in Mumbai where Kashmiri students were discriminated against, it also brought in its umbrella the protests happening nation-wide in different cities and towns including Chandigarh, Amritsar, Delhi and Bombay.
Three sessions and unbiased discussions turned out to be the gist of the second day of PU Mock AIPPM. The closing ceremony substantiated all that went into making the event a success, with efforts by Panjab University authorities, Panjab University Campus Student Council (PUCSC) and Brijesh, the man behind the event.
