Poetry is the perfect essence of the spirit of life, and no one could explain this any better than Kavitactic. Driven by immense passion, zeal and a keen eye for poetry, Kavitactic organised an enticing event portraying poets from across the tricity on October 28th, 2016 at the Open Hand Monument, Sector 1 Chandigarh.
Keeping in view the festive season, Kavitactic Diwali Chapter also launched the #LightofLife campaign wherein people were requested to share a video talking about how poetry has been a beacon of light in their life. For every video that was posted, Kavitactic bought one Diya from the School for Blind, Sector 26 Chandigarh to spread light this festive season. And needless to say, the stage was aesthetically ignited with those enlightening diyas.
The event provided over 20 poets, the best and the finest platforms in the city. Thereby, revolutionizing the way Chandigarh looks at poetry. The evening witnessed eminent singer-musician, Shubham Semwal who broke the blues with his rhythmic tunes and Sylvester Stephen, a Chandigarh based stand-up comedian.
The evening gleamed with passionate literary enthusiasts and a tranquil vibe of its own.
