In a close knit book shop with hundreds of books of various genres all around, all literary minds sat, stood and listened to the wordy delights that swayed everyone’s heart. Such an evening was set as the Bombay Review, a bi-monthly literary magazine, presented the 13 City Event Tour in collaboration with the Chandigarh Literary Society on December 19, 2015.
This event provided poets from all around the City-Beautiful a platform to unleash their potential and to earn their spot amidst the audience of 80 such creative minds. It witnessed the poetry related to the past and the future, of the self and the society, of beauty and intellect, composed and recited by the youth of Chandigarh. And if that was not sufficient to instill energy in every individual present, the inspirational stories, such as the one about a girl named Mindy and her fears of the midnight, and the comical yet meaningful shayaries did the needful.
Ms. Suditi Jindal, author of the well-acclaimed book, “Grow Up Moon” also shared her words on ‘Writing as an art for budding writers‘ and Dr. Sumitra Misra, the Chairperson of the Chandigarh Literary Society graced the event as the Chief Guest. Such an enlightening experience it was, being in the presence of creativity, intellect, and a certain form of art.
