A little girl asker her mother

Why she had to cover her face with a veil
While her friend didn’t have to
She said it suffocated her, she couldn’t inhale

Her mother was amazed at her query
But continued to dress her in the veil
And said it was a religious tradition she had to carry

The little girl, anxious to ask more
Removed her veil and sat cross legged on the floor

She pronounced,aren’t we all same?

Sara has two eyes, two legs, two ears, lips and cheeks and everything
Mommy! Its just straight out lame.

Her mother was startled by her reply
amazed at her little girl’s innocence
and the sheer logic she could apply.

She sat down,recalling the phrase

Aren’t we all same?
>
The same red blood runs through our veins
Alkaline tears flow off our eyes
when we are in pain

We breath the same oxygen from the air
We take care of our children with same amount of care

We all have a four valved heart
But divided ourselves from the start

God,he never said we were apart

He never made us different
Religion,cast,creed lead us to commitment

She sat there thinking….
Aren’t we all same?

While her little girl went to school in that veil
With a suffocated breath
But spirits that did not quail
